Técnico
Time blocking for a brain that doesn't do abstract time.
How it works
Put what you have to do in the list, then drag it onto the day. A block takes
up as much room as the time it takes, so a day with too much in it looks like a
day with too much in it — before you've lived it.
Common questions
- Does it sync between my Mac and my iPhone?
- Yes, through your own iCloud account. Sign in to the same account on both
and they keep up with each other. Turn iCloud off for Técnico and everything
stays on one device.
- Why don't I get alerts?
- Check that notifications are allowed in Settings → Técnico, and that the
block hasn't already started — the app only schedules alerts for blocks still
ahead of you.
- Do I have to give it my calendar?
- No. Granting it means your meetings appear on the timeline, so the gaps
it shows you are gaps you actually have. It's read-only either way: the app
never adds, edits or removes a calendar event.
- What happens to a task I didn't finish?
- It comes back to the list rather than sitting on yesterday as a failure.
